Prints

My introduction to printmaking began at Fort Mason from Eleanor Rappe. I stopped when I had my first son. It wasn’t until 2007 through 2018, when I would spend a week at the Oxbow Studio Adult Workshop that I returned to the presses. At Oxbow I learned from Stephen Thomas, a master teacher and founding Director of the Oxbow School, Napa, California, which offers an art and humanities based single semester for high school juniors or seniors. The studio was beautiful, aesthetically and functionally. It was my first glimpse of working as an artist.
