About Joni

Joni believes the practice of creating is entwined with our desire to connect with the world and understand our brief existence. The labor and repetition in her art are a space for meditation and learning. Nature, stories, history, and love provide the details that guide her process using mediums of gouache, pen & ink, collage and, now, bookmaking and more ink.
